Partnerships:
LifeBridge AmeriCorps partnerships with nonprofit organizations throughout West Virginia are key to making the most of available resources to support our communities. These collaborations provide a way to expand capabilities and provide greater flexibility to leverage our resources, improve efficiency and effectiveness, and expand geographic reach.
LifeBridge AmeriCorps members commit to serving 1700 hours (approximately 35 hours per week) over twelve months. Throughout their service, the LifeBridge AmeriCorps member will help your organization meet the ever increasing demand for direct services and also recruit and train volunteers.
LifeBridge AmeriCorps members can serve in any community in West Virginia. If your organization is a non-profit providing direct services in the areas of education, health and human services, or veterans assistance, we would love to partner with you!
LifeBridge AmeriCorps is sponsored by the United Way of Central West Virginia and is funded in part by a grant from Volunteer WV, The State’s Commission for National and AmeriCorps.
